Lookin' at the moon tryin not to fall over
thinkin' about the future and where we'll all be
stuck in a cosmic spin, can any of us win?
is the present that dismal? do our lives seem that abysmal?
or maybe we're just too cynical, to enjoy this lovely world,
so as the stars shine bright, they prepare themselves for flight
not seeing what i see in you, the brightest star of all,
projecting light ten times your might from an ego the size of a doll...
lookin up again, starting to realize,
if it wasn't for the sun, i wouldn't be alive,
you're my sun and, I'm you're moon,
and though i am fading now, i know i'll see you soon,
i can't deny this necessity, for i am nothing without you
just a darkly lowly mass, in constant pursuit,
with no need for motivation, it is built into my rotation
the only fault being our inherent separation
it seems like nature is laughing, enjoying it's practical joke,
setting me up like a tire, restricted by it's spokes,
no stop it, it can't be, how bout some positivity?
things just happen, they go back and forth
they negative gets overwhelming, and often misunderstood
without it though, how would we know really,
how good is good?
now looking forward, with a renewed sense of order,
not confined or contained, happy to stay where i've remained,
there's no use in fighting, we won't ever be colliding
like two positive magnets, or two interstellar planets
i know that "We'll" never be... side by side but never complete
i just want you to see... you could have me, if you want me
All of me
