about

"I’ve seen Hello Money countless times and even though I always go into the show a hater I leave tapping my feet to those sweet mash-up reggae rock jams that only they could do so well."
-SmartShanghai.com

This album is the culmination of 5 years of hard work, bargaining, great collaborators, people pursuing their dreams, corporate schmucks, silly out-of-town gigs, silly in-town gigs, Family Mart (面包三件八折 son), and NY Style Pizza.

Shout-outs to:
Ryan Baird for producer skills, infinite patience and frequent Family Guy breaks
Ivan Belcic for the drum skills, album cover, many posters and other manly things
Eddie McCarty for doing Eddie stuff and never stopping
Peter Jackson for multi-instrumental professionalism
Mike Corayer for trumpets and just generally classing up the joint
Raymond Liu (aka 5x Raymond) for being the voice of percussive reason
Justin Brown for that subtle bass face
CJ Myers for occasional drum skills
Nick Muzyczka for laying down that keyboard and knowing when to take the high end out of the bass
Heidi Woehrle for her crazy vocal skills
Zak Wali-Agha for occasional creative inspiration
Yan from MAO Livehouse for all those random gigs that got us here
JC Heinballa for camera work and moral/immoral support
Fontana Lim for becoming an instrument of his own
Joe Brown for that scrilla
Max Primeau for so much politely-worded advice
Andy Suzuki & Thomas Griffith for Stateside assistance
Becca Smith for helping us get started
The Menitoff family for unprompted financial support
John B for the financial gifts
Angie Hsu for her relentless Taobao skills
The unceasingly wonderful cities of Washington, DC and Shanghai
The Hurwitz, Lee and St. John families for guiding us here in the strange ways that you did
And to everyone who came to our shows, watched our videos or said nice things to us:

THANK YOU // 多谢!
